I’m happy to reveal a new upcoming car: the Suzuki Alto Hustle Le! I have been busy over the past two weeks making it happen, but this meant that I actually forgot to post a new mashup on Monday. I’ll make it up to you with a new and shiny Hustle car mashup!
What is the Suzuki Alto Hustle?
For those unfamiliar with the Alto Hustle: it’s basically already one big car mashup to begin with! The front end is, as you may have guessed, from the third generation Suzuki Alto. That also means the front end features the same engine and underpinnings as the CL/CM22 Alto. The rear end seems to originate from the Suzuki Every (Carry based) van and together the car still remains just within the Kei car specifications!
On the highest grade spec, the Le, a five speed manual has been mated to the 658cc F6A engine and this can drive either two or four wheels simultaneously. It’s unknown if the 4WD drive system was taken from the previous generation Alto Works RS/X or copied from the new CR22 Alto Works RS/X. What is for sure is that the Alto Hustle shares the chassis code of the Works editions: it’s also called a CR22S, as the CR22V was already taken by the RS/X without any rear seats. (and being technically a van)
That brings me to the uber legendary Suzuki Alto Hustle Works: according to various sources Suzuki offered a Works version of the Hustle in (very) limited numbers. It’s unclear how many of Hustle Works have been created, but it surely is an amazing thought to have 67 hp and 67 lb⋅ft on the tap of your little delivery van!
I’m happy to tell you that I’ve already finished adding the Hustle to Car Mashups, so it will definitely be on the site next Monday!
